The employment of relatives or individuals with personal relationships in positions where you may have influence over important conditions of employment may produce a perception of favoritism and also may create a conflict of interest, and is therefore prohibited. CPG does allow the hiring of relatives and friends of employees as long as the new hire does not directly or indirectly report to their friend or relative.
